I wrote above that of your choices, the gray glass subway was the best.
Crazy, isn't it? So many choices to begin with, it's finally narrowed down to four, and then here come dozens more...choices. All good, earnest and helpful ideas, to be sure.
Keep it simple; back to your four.
You've got dark base cabs, light wall cabs, a white/bright counter, and warm wood floors.. That design needs your third choice, the gray-glass subway tiles. They produce a blend-in/non-competitive pattern (unlike the hexagon, e.g.). And they're darker, which is needed; the depth will pull everything together.
Have Fun - Good Luck
Ashley - I so totally agree with @lazidazi !! All the choices being thrown around were making me crazy & I was feeling bad for you! 😁 The lesson is I think that there are so many choices & people have so many different styles & preferences that it’s very important that a person focuses on what they like & want to see everyday in their space. It’s good to have all this input as it makes one consider other choices & the input also should help each of us understand what our personal style is. So, you pick & please don’t be afraid to come back & tell us what you did pick. I’d like to know!
Multiplicitous.
Individualistic.
LOVE, have always wanted one! About to have my first white kitchen!
If you'd like to have more storage, seek to define dining room from living room space, and want to change the TV setup, have you considered built-ins on either side of the dining room double windows?
Your third picture shows this space utilization option. Guessing the wall space into the corner from left of the windows is approximately three feet (?). If you built matching cabinets on either side of the windows, the right cabinet would almost perfectly define end of dining room, beginning of living room.
You can then mount TV on wall or atop a credenza sized and placed to suit the space.
As you've stated, rugs are needed. A large liviing room rug would be first prioriity, extending just barely behing back of sofa. This leaves space for a smaller dining room rug, that just encompasses the table and chairs. Just a thot, but getting rugs in place first might just help your design decisions thereafter.
What a beautiful living room-dining room. No wonder you want to be careful how you introduce a large TV, now that you’re jettisoning the armoire. I’ve long admired approaches that involve hiding even large TVs in plain sight. One of several online roundups is at https://www.purewow.com/home/how-to-hide-a-tv
Add some walls - you may need a professional carpenter. Open concept houses were never a good idea. Add walls.
