I agree with Diana, to a degree. I think it’s okay to save things for a while. However, set a time limit. Put a reminder in your phone for not more than a few months. In my case, I end up donating about 90% of that stuff.

I think it depends on if you have a repurpose idea already or if this is something you commonly do. I would save them but I always have a project. If you complete repurpose projects at the rate of twice a decade then I suggest you donate them.
