If you can float your sofa so it faces that wall (logical so you can enjoy the view out the sliders, as well as the FP and tv) I think you could do something like one of these and have a larger tv if you choose:
FOR HEAVENS SAKE! lol
Folks, I know it's easy to get ants in the pants. To imagine, to dream....! But the turn of the key on move in day is not an ending, a finish.....it is a new beginning. Treat it like that, and don't rush.
Draw, measure!!! plan. Decorating in haste leads to tears........in leisure.
A full width front deck will really elevate your house, no matter the color. These are low, wide ranch homes. You can see how great a full width porch/deck looks on them.
A year of annoyance? Why?
Is the back side fairly finished? Can you give them an accent finish on the back side? If so?
Turn the night stands 180 *, face the open side to your bed or toward the window......
Or NIGHTLY do the very same thing with furniture slides underneath, and push back in place against the wall in the morning! The gap is ridiculous and an invite for stuff to fall behind.
OR buy new : )
They are the wrong depth for that bed. You need something from the "end table" category of furniture, not the night stand category. That will get you a depth of 24 or 26 " or 28.......not 18/19 inches.
Less expensive below than "custom" anything.......

OR look for a table that is OPEN on all sides with a suitable "Long" dimension.
Or get new.....nesting style
Why is your daughter looking at a property that she hates, and why are you trying to get her to like it?
Summer art fair season is coming up. Start with a piece you love and add to the wall until you have a gallery or salon wall.
Thank you everyone! You’ve given me great ideas!! @boxerpal the tv in on a mantel mount so it lowers very close to the wall. @mmc429 the chairs are now on fb marketplace! I’m in Seattle so not sure where you may want them shipped.
@beverlyFLDeziner and shirlpp there really isn’t enough room for a sideboard on that wall. I think just art will have to do.
Maybe a corner desk on the shorter side and shelving on the other.
Too much gray for me, too. Also looks like the room doesn't have a window, so that adds to the grayness. The good news is that what you have is a very neutral backdrop so you have a lot of possibilities. If you really don't want to paint, use colorful towels. If you're up for painting, you can use white, or a light blue or green. Or if you like stronger colors, look at SW Sea Salt, which is very popular in bathrooms. It's blue-green - how it looks depends on the lighting. Some people see more blue, some more green. In BM, look at Quiet Moments, which is similar to Sea Salt.
With that corner fireplace a built in will always look awkward. I would get a nice wood credenza and mount the tv over it.
These are from Pottery Barn
These - Company Store
Blue and White is always classic - these are from Dillard's
You're just not used to the new layout and space. My kitchen is 18 x 18 and I revel in the fact that nothing has to be crushed together. Enjoy the great breathing room you have! As your family grows up you'll find that teenagers take up a great deal of space. It would be foolish to spend more money on changing things now. It looks great.
Your kitchen is lovely. I think you’re experiencing classic renovation regret but it’s just because it’s all NEW! You will get used to it. I appreciate that others say you should “just switch” your appliances but that’s not as easy to do as it is to type it. A table - no matter how narrow - will be an obstacle and you will bump into it. See if you can borrow one from a friend and try it. (My island is too close to my sink and every time I walk around it I get a black and blue mark on my hip.)
Leave your kitchen alone, congratulate yourself on living through a renovation and let us know if you still hate it in 6 months.
I would consider removing the shutters since the windows are the wrong style and size for them. If possible, I would then beef up the window trim so it matches the upper 3 windows. My personal preference would be to leave the garage door white. Since the garage door is small/single it would likely look balanced to have it, the front door and window trim white. I’m not a pro so see what they suggest.
How about this? Add windows to the garage door, paint it BB or keep it white. I like the front door BB, but I like the yellow even better. Getting rid of the shutters calms the facade.
Remove the shutters and then reevaluate, as mentioned above they do not fit size or stile wise. Shutters should look like they could possibly be real and functional and those do not come close. Recently painted or not.
A more interesting door color. Paint the window frame on the door to match the door. Remove the bin. Power wash the stone. No wreaths. One wide doormat. Agree with planters outside the railing - possibly 3.
I suggest you first start by cleaning/power wash the porch and steps then paint the railing black. Give your doors a fresh coat of blue paint including including the window frames in blue, and a fresh coat of white paint on the door trim as well. You seem to be using the door on the left so place a few pots of colourful flowers on the right with one coming down the 1st step.
Replace your sconce with a large black one, and you can add large street number
Instead of only painting the blue strips over the garage door, perhaps you can consider filling the gable area with natural looking shingles as well as the strips below the 2 windows and enlarge the window frames and continue the frames along the single columns below.
I show an architectural detail by adding a pergola above the garage door and a finishing box under the bay window. Then paint the garage door, pergola, and all trim white.
