I'm sorry for you nicole but I am crushed for poor Palerna and furious at the dipsh*t owners.

I am so sorry, Nicole. Those awful people do not deserve a pet. Poor thing.

Luciile, like to say the best thing to have done was take the dog to the shelter and let them talk to the family. That little thing is going to have a miserable life. i wonder what if …there is a chance to talk to them. Tomorrow is going to be an awakening and 2nd thoughts for them. i believe they will get rid of it somehow. putting a dog on Craig's List is a heartless thing to do. they have no idea.

It is a reality TV show. None of it and I mean none is real. If you enjoy the show great because they are on board so no feelings hurt but I cant imagine any real feelings. Remember he lied to you about his forlorn life all alone after his wife's death. Who does that for real? I wouldn't know any of this if not for reading about this here as I dont follow these shows and it was an interesting dive into the genre. I am all about learning new stuff. Soap? I get the fun and all but I cant take this seriously. Yell at me if you must.

i'm surprised it took this long for them to split the sheets. 🙄

the whole "bachelor" franchise is a train wreck. what self-respecting woman thinks it's ok for the man she's madly in love with to be bumping uglies with other women??

Darn, I thought I was going to learn a new word, concrot. Someone should think up a definition for that. Maybe something to do with "con". I confess to watching bach from the beginning but skip through a lot of it. I often wonder if the lead is so in love with multiple people, if the first choice doesn't work out, why not go back and have a try with their second choice rather than start fresh. Yes, the second choice may feel slighted. I have a hard time believing that these people can fall in love, true lasting love, with minimal time together. Bravo to the ones who make it work.

I did find Gerry a bit creepy.

I've been around for a number of years, not great memory at 90+ says not sure when I began. Was it a guy named Spike who ran KT for years - sent one to Disney when disliked one of one's posts: I remember wondering what was going on when to me, until I learned.

I don't remember the names you mentioned, but might if heard more that related to them.

I remember meeting with Cherryfizz and Dances (in gardens?) in Windsor, quite a few years ago, and later with Nita who organized many such, here in London, with a number present, including Jasdip.

I'm a bit sad that some rather familiar names from earlier years haven't been around recently.

Originally "joyful guy", recently given a number like prisoners, who sins (that's "signs"' - cursor's been playing tricks on me) as

"ole joyful"

Yes, dating back to the 1998 GW alumni. Sent Spike a $15 contribution and received in return this tee shirt which is still in pretty good shape...

Yes to bloodwork. No one mentioned his kidneys, but they suggested a supplement for his liver (an ongoing issue).

Ninapearl, it's possible he drinks too quickly. I thought about getting a fountain, as my daughter-in-law likes hers, but it's daunting to think of changing the water 6 or more times a day, which is what I do now. Of course, if the fountain stopped him from spitting up in the water, I wouldn't have to change it that often. But there's only one way to find out.

Petalique, Rocky keeps everything down--until he drinks. Your story about how you acquired a Siamese cat had me smiling, especially because Rocky's anxiety began when I started feeding a stray cat on the porch. Rocky was an indoor cat at the time, and when he spotted the stray through the window, and he did not ask if she could come in. Incidentally, I found the stray's owners, who had moved a few states away. They drove all the way back to collect their cat.

I was shopping in the produce section of Kroger the other day and was looking over the potatoes. I was trying to find the best bag when the grocery guy came up to me and told me he had some new bags he could get me. I said okay, and then he asked if I needed onions because the cart he was unloading had huge white and yellow onions on them. I sometimes choose them over bags because the ones in the bags are usually already rotting. I told him the last time I bought a bag of onions there they were half rotten already. He asked me which ones I wanted and I picked three huge onions out. He bagged them in netting and put a .99 label on them for me. I'm pretty sure they would normally cost me $5 or more for those three onions.

Texas. Government is corrupt (attorney general under indictment) and doesn't give a hoot about anything or anyone unless they get money or power out of it. Trash all over, although Texans profess to "love the land". Education is almost non-existent. Schools seem to exist to support football teams. And "Tejas, the friendly state" is a bunch of hooey.

However, there is no personal income tax, although the property taxes are the highest in the nation.

Makes me appreciate rules and regulations as I hate with a passion seeing cars and junk in yards. Love town living on my 1/2 acre ...1/2 mile from Traders, Starbucks, and Aldi and 2 miles from the dentist, doctor, eye doctor and a couple miles from the beautiful Appalachian trail where I hike every day.
