I'd get it med hot and then pour in a bit (1/4c?) of water like when you deglaze. Take a metal spatula and that stuff should come right up. Rinse it out and put it back on a burner to dry and then rub a thin layer of oil on it.
She was a sweet, feisty lady and seemed to love life. Very sorry to hear we lost her. She held that grandson of hers very close.
