My GAWD.....the first issue?

You need to be 5'11", and a size two - essentially a straightened wire hanger.

They drag all over the ground, or they look too short.

My luck? I catch a toe as I descend a stair with a gigantic tote at a client and the fall takes me out of this business - one that is far more physical than you can imagine.

I do not go to a gym, to stay in shape- ONLY to float in fat ass pants that would accommodate someone 6 sizes larger.

I hope my white skinny pants from last season didn't die in their silicone pac embedded crate. I will not be caught dead in these floaters.

( trend noticed at gym: Either the up the crack yoga variety ;LEAVING ZERO TO ANYONE'S IMAGINATION......or this revived thick, hideous baggy, lumpy fleecy sweatpants look we all abandoned in the 80's! WTH WTH WTH !!!

Ben Moore Navajo is a great soft wall color. Use a clear white on ceiling, Chantilly, or Decorator white. You can use either of those two on all trim ( in your case that is fire surround, doors, ONLY in SATIN finish ( Advance B.M ) .

The rest of the trim is far too skimpy for ANY highlight! Paint "crown" and base molding SAME AS walls, and spare yourself the extra cost of even changing the finish. Just use the wall color and matte finish.

You have to understand that this forum gets posts from distressed wives about this subject all the time. When I respond to them I say that technology is such that all that equipment can be hidden and controlled with an app. I tell them how I deal with my own component closet heat by pumping the heat down under the raised foundation.

You both walked right into this with your eyes open. Now we could blame your wife for agreeing to display something that doesn't need to be displayed but it sounds like you bait and switched her. You got her to pick the expensive speakers but surprise... they need to be 4 feet away from the wall! Then you knew she'd expect a 18" wide amplifier that is 7 inches tall but you brought home TWO 200 pound amplifiers the size of two 3 foot long logs on stands.

I personally would have waited because AI is going to render your equipment obsolete in the next couple years.

If we have to we'll start a petition to get that out of there.
