If you want an entrance that will require a floor plan. As mentioned consult and architect, not a contractor. Coming out 10 ft doesn't help anything if there is not way to find passage through the rooms above the stalls.

Mid 70s mod lodge in the woods means we invoke the era with mid c (+/-) vintage furniture (slender campaign table perfect 21st century era desk)
Walnut flooring we added; the whole house being of its time had been all carpet but for the 2 sets of stairs
Reflective mirror, lamps & credenza intentional because this slender small room, more of an alcove, has only borrowed light from window in massive stairwell adjacent to office

That room 5: is a pic of a lovely room. Would’ve loved to see office part of it. I’d call it a

Very nice! Wonderful attention to detail and especially commend Ms. George for designing with breezes and southern exposures in mind. Mary Colter of today!

Just a few basic things for all of us to remember in planning outdoor spaces. Few areas of the country have no insects, and mosquitos in particular can be a real problem. Screened porches may be essential at night. No matter how nice a firepit is, by dusk the mosquitos arrive. Also, full sun can make diners and loungers uncomfortable especially on warm days, so don't forget umbrellas or overhead coverage and plan for the space they might need. Lastly, consider screening (fences/shrubs) that might be necessary to hide unappealing views that can't be eliminated. No matter how nice the patio or furniture you won't want to spend a beautiful afternoon looking at an untidy neighbors property.

This style is just <3 Loved every single detail. Will probably try to redesign this bathroom in planner 5d. I feel like I can come up with something decent. TY for sharing this!

I love the way storage and a counter were worked in.

Small. Medium is fine, large is just strange.

It’s about time HOUZZ featured something other than dated farmhouses. The spaces r a work of sumptuous art! Created by a designer that actually designs and not just decorates. Bravo!

There are many subtle touches here, like the bedroom color picking up some color from the building across the street. Losing unneeded kitchen cabinets and opting for display was brilliant. Of course, this level of work here (and the restored museum-quality furnishings) is VERY expensive, but this is the way things should be done if they are going to be featured in a magazine. 5-stars!

Wow, what a vast improvement! As I was telling my spouse the other day, “ it’s not the square footage, it is how the square footage is laid out.” Raising the ceiling made an amazing difference. Really lovely and thoughtful design!

I agree with gurukaram, though I might have wanted to keep the slider in the family room. It is a beautifully done, thoughtful renovation. Loved comparing what the added skylight did in the "sunroom," even though they replaced a set of windows with cabinetry and added a bit more window space by replacing a set of windows with the slider. It's much brighter and inviting. Lucky folks!

The blue was a bold move - and absolutely works! One of my favorite kitchen on Houzz.

If you're selling, why bother? I seriously doubt the sink will prevent someone from buying the house.
