The wall should last as long as anyone needs it to, but the tub will have to be refinished at some point. It is still an effective, inexpensive way to makeover a tub, as opposed to buying new. (When I did my tub, it was about $300 I think, but certainly less than $400).

On first take that painting looks a bit large for that wall space. I think it’s going to dwarf the chair.
