Thank you so much for the feedback! We definitely need the storage. We barely have any storage in this house and I’m trying to declutter and have less out in the open or on open shelves. I gravitate towards the “transitional” styles on Pinterest (like: thehillarystyle, ourpnw_home, making_highview). We just replaced our sofas and will be getting rid of the armoire. The TV stand is temp until we get a console. I also want to replace the coffee tables and the iron piece above the fireplace.
Is a cabinet necessary? What will it hold? If not necessary would suggest that you dispense with it and add a console table perhaps.
