That’s very clever with the bookcase .
This could also be another idea. I would prefer this, because I am not a fan of floating sofas, plus, I wouldn’t want my sofa in front of the front door. My mockup is not as neat and professional as yours, but hopefully gives the general idea. If possible, I would put a tv on the wall that’s adjacent to closet, wall mounted with a (slim) floating shelf console. Some type of art over arch. Side chair facing windows and door.
A row of IKEA Billy bookcases along that wall, attached to the wall with drywall anchors. Cut your tv opening. Sell on FB when you move.
There are plenty of things you can do for extra space in your bedroom. You could add a vanity, dressers, console tables with artwork, a sofa, chairs, bench, mirror, etc. Below are some bedrooms we have designed for our clients. Please take a moment to look through them for more ideas.
We get posters here all the time that get to the spacer stage and flip out. Once all the visual noise is removed they tend to like it.
Thank you all so much for making me feel better about our tile choices. Posting more photos. Now that I’ve had more time to process and get used to the tiles, I realized that since the bathroom isn’t too big anyways I can easily put a rug or two over the flooring to soften it.
@freedomplace1 what software did you use to change the floor tiles in the pics so beautifully? Plz share, I luv how effortlessly you were able to see the impact without having to resort to changing the tiles
The cabinet by the sliding doors looks to be storing liquor bottles and barware which have to be taken to the kitchen in order to mix drinks, and a giant coffee maker is taking up counter space by the refrigerator. Use the dining space (which is really just a pass through) as a place for a beverage station with an under counter refrigerator, shelves above for decor, coffee cups, wine glasses, etc. It will take pressure off the kitchen and also be near the back yard for any outdoor entertaining.
We have always had our media room in the basement the TV is great when there are no winddows to deal with . The TV can be placed so that if you have a gym you can watch TV while on the treadmill. Use good lighting that can be controlled for TV watching .This was our media room with no windows in our last house . It was funny no one ever realized there were no windows
Previous discussion on same room.
Here are some ideas for you.

The “struggle“ isn’t real... ;)
It’s not life or death. Look at pics of some spaces that have similar materials and design as what you are doing. Maybe that will also help you to decide.
IMO chrome it is timeless and a master bath is a private space like the bedroom and can be very different than the rest of the house for even hardware.
The other advantage to chrome is that it's the least expensive finish. When outfitting a primary bathroom the savings can add up. I did want some sparkle as others have said, and the cost savings was a bonus when we remodeled two years ago. That bathroom has gray and white tile. DH still likes brushed nickel, though, so that's what's in the secondary bathroom (all white tile). I think gold and black are trendy, but I do like black in some circumstances.
In the dilemma description, you said your cabinets are white - and in above comment you say they are wood?
This space likely has nothing to do with your kitchen, but is a nice pic I found this morning. Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. I resided in Boerum Hill, briefly. Loved it there.
So, back to your kitchen... are the cabinets white or wood?
I have no idea what color your cabinets are - .whether they be wood or white.
But I would suggest putting the movement on the countertops instead of the floor, in either case.. And possibly do an LVP or wood on the floor - something that complements your other flooring. Doesn’t have to necessarily be a perfect match.
Congrats on the reno!
agree with Mrs. S - the floor is going be super bossy in that space - I wonder about a simple/classic charcoal slate tile, which will give you so many options for countertops? there is something to be said for having the flooring recede and support the other elements in the room
but if you are sure & love it, then just ignore me :)
If you don’t want to see dirt you need a small pattern granite that has a few colors in it.

WOW! You ALL are beyond awesome! Thank you so very much for all the comments and suggestions! I don't love the red at all - especially with the orangyness of the floors which seems to clash with the counters. Yes the red is no doubt confusing me! I hope to do a renovation within a couple years but for now your suggestions to paint the walls white, light grey or taupe seem like the easiest and practical solution that will immediately help the kitchen look better. Also, yes 100% agree to get rid of the bathroom light fixture over the kitchen sink. I will eventually replace the ceiling fanwith something more streamlined as suggested or I'll get rid of it all together. I don't love the style of the fan at all but I do like the suggestion of painting the fan blades white until I find something to replace it.
Thank you again for sharing your opinions. Your feedback has helped immensely!

Thank you J from Lakes Country.
It takes a lot of courage for people to post asking for help and I think we as a community owe encouragement without viciousness. The old rule. If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. And in every single post, there is something to be found that is positive. Just reading above.. Some love the red, some love the ceiling fan, some love the entire space... So many beautiful, creative and wonderful solutions for the OP. I love the ideas flowing.
Positivity?
It is easy to forget that text can come across as rude. I do not mean in this thread. I mean for other threads on Houzz. Sometimes the snarky comments, which deep down offer advice, can come across as mean. If that same comment were spoken in person with a smile or a bit of laughter over a cup of tea it would be perfectly on point. But unfortunately over text it falls flat, cruel and bitter.
But as you can see as you scroll above there are many here who find and focus on the good. The positive solutions, sweet support and even two friends (Jilly and Freedom place 1) offering to go get the Op's place to make it beautiful in person. I love it!!!
Kindness is contagious.
