I love the look of this mural. Definitely go with the wallpaper. I've had luck with painting the wall behind the wallpaper a color matching the background of the paper. This might be tricky with a mural... so many different colors. Save some of the peel and stick mural to cover your outlet covers.

^^^Exactly, the point isn’t the actual house, it’s the presentation.

Just like people. Not everyone is model material, but most anyone can be cleaned up and put in clothing that makes them look well put together.

I met with a new agent today, and we both like her a lot better. She likes the color in our dining room and told us not to change it, especially since the paint is from Dec 2023. She did say that the exterior needs to be painted but that we should keep the teal, or change it if we wish, but I want to keep it and just give it a new coat. We will paint the bottom part white to cover the beige, and this will also be the color for the back of the house. This could have a blinding effect in the back yard, as it is very sunny there, but we have a covered pergola that is nice, and we will clean the fountains.

Now I have to tell the first agent that we will not be using her, and the new agent told me that I should simply tell her that we are going in a different direction. Our sister told us that we should get confirmation from her that we do NOT have an agreement, even though Kevin signed it. I did not sign it, and the agreement is not valid without both of us signing it. I know she will be upset because this would have been a huge commission for her, but I did not find her to be a good fit.

The new agent said we should not paint our beautiful maple kitchen cabinets, but we will be painting all the walls except for the dining room, and we will go with something like SW Origami White. I've used that before and liked it. I think it is bright enough without being offensive.

The new agent also said that people are now getting tired of all white kitchens and that there is no reason for us to paint the entire kitchen white. We can leave that to the buyers, if that is what they want.

We will be meeting with the new agent again on Tuesday.

Thanks for everyone's help here - it really helped me understand that I needed to change agents, and the new agent is the sister of a Houzz member who contacted me after seeing this thread, and so it was doubly useful!
