I have pulls on all my cabinets and just hang a towel over one . I agree the handle of the range is also great. I do not think wall hung is attractive for sure .
I would probably get an S-hook and hang it from that wire shelf that is to the right.
Many years ago I read an article about a house where the designer used about 6 different shades of white to get the illusion the house was painted one color. It depends on the light.
@D M PNW wow that sounds impossible but I guess for a designer it could be an interesting challenge!
for your art issue and nail holes - consider a picture hanging rail like a gallery would use and paint to match the wall. That way you could suspend pics without random holes.
(if you had thought very far ahead, you could have recessed it into the sheetrock for a flush installation)
My next door neighbor used plastic snakes that expand when they get wet to keep cats off her cars. She bought them at the dollar store.
Keeping a vigil with a Supersoaker.
Google "motion activated sprinkler for cats" and there are a couple of options.
Finish painting the downspout the wall color.
I'd celebrate the brick with a complimentary wall color. Teacup Rose 2170-50 | Benjamin Moore 2024 Colr Trends. And paint the white trim to match the bricks.
Plant larger shrubs to visually ground this area from a distance and cover the brick. If you like flowers, place a large pot between the downspout and hose and on the right side of the walkway in the front corner of the soil garden area. Plant big blossoming flowers there to punctuate the shrubs with a bit of color and floral interest.
Is it a wet bar? How do you plan to use the room?
Can you also post pics of your kitchen? Am I correct that you are going to be using the same flooring in there too? You can't make these decisions in isolation.
You can put enough paint on those walls to change the color, but the texture will remain, which is why I suggested changing to drywall.
My parents built a house in 1977, when paneling was all the rage. When she tired of the paneling, she painted over it - below you can easily see the wood grain (which was not nearly as pronounced as in your basement)
Pictures please.
Your post title says ’edging’ but we don’t know what you mean by that. Edging along flower beds? Along a sidewalk or driveway? Along woodlands?
Edging really doesn’t have anything to do with leaves.
