If it's getting any direct sun, it will help to temporarily shade it for several days. I stick leafy branches in the ground around new transplants until they adjust.

I have put a patio umbrella up to shade the direct sun for a few days.

It is fine now, it was just a little sad from being transplanted😅. Just a dramatic plant that just needed some love and water.

I know of a couple people that have had trees stolen from their land. It's usually black walnut that disappears around here. It's heartbreaking and I'm glad the people in your story will be prosecuted. I hope it's a deterrent for others.

Soonerplantfarm has quite a few. It's online but they're located in NE Oklahoma south of Tahlequah and I think they offer a discount if you pick up your order there. Maybe that's not too far for you. I've never ordered from them. I'm in southwest Missouri and tempted. Kinda pricey but it looks like the plants are large (gallon size and larger) so that's good.

Thank you! Flowers by the Sea may very well have been it. I seem to be missing out on many great nurseries, planning to order from them "someday," and then when I'm finally ready I find the nursery closed down the previous year. Lol. Happened with Joy Creek and a couple of others.
