I set up a second drawer of silverware and a separate knife set, and it's helped a bit. I accept the extra steps I need to take between stove and fridge. We have other priorities in the house to take care of first....this is more an annoyance than a severe problem. But aren't so many of our issues presented on houzz!!

Christie Gilmore I think your kitchen looks wonderful! If it’ll make you feel any better, I’ve been running up and down stairs to my basement refrigerator every time I need something. A kitchen redo is coming soon but in the meantime it’s been a circus for over a year. The only thing that works is the stovetop - 40” range oven quit years ago. Dishwasher and micro quit too. It’s almost comical. And I’m 74 so I’m gettin lots of exercise running up and down. Enjoy your beautiful space!
