Lulu, your husband would have a cow if he saw my kitchen stuff. I would definitely have canisters if I had the room. I have a very tiny kitchen and is currently maxed out! HA!

Excellent, thanks for the 'heads up'! I saw the moon through cloud cover last night but tonight should be crystal clear, getting lucky for a change :) I didn't know it was called a pink moon, I love that tidbit.

No stars visible on this old farm - did clouds moving in earlier require a cover charge?

I haven’t read the advice you‘ve been given thus far but here’s mine, a combination of advice I’ve read here and elsewhere and what I’ve found has worked best for me:

It looks like it’s nicely cleaned up. wash it one more time then wipe it dry, then as you’re drying it rub it hard with paper towels. If there’s a bit of black that’s ok but if there’s any brown then there’s more rust to scrub.

After you’re done with cleaning and drying well, coat with oil. Flaxseed - pure flaxseed, found refrigerated - is supposedly the best but I don’t bother as it’s expensive and I have no other use for it. I use avocado oil, and have used grapeseed in the past. I do NOT like to use vegetable oil though many instructions include that.

Once oiled, take clean paper towels to wipe off as much of the oil as you can. Anything more than that left behind can become gummy.

Put upside down in an oven. Heat to 350, let it bake for a bit then shut off the oven. A couple hours later when it’s all cooled, repeat. And repeat. If at any time you find the pan feels gummy, you left too much oil. Scrub the gummy sections clean and start over, as it won’t go away on its own. Oil and bake three times and you should have a nice shiny skillet to cook with.

Don't use the cap on the bottle or jug to dose liquid detergent. Those measurement marks are essentially invisible (probably intended as such), aren't stated in standard units of anything, nor are they easily repeatable.

Get a 1/4 cup / 4 tbsp mini measuring cup such as this. It's marked in mL and oz on the other side. They're translucent for easy viewing of the hash marks and accurately repeatable. Rinse the cup under the washer's fill stream to get the full measured dose out of it if you have a toploader and can do so ... or wipe it out with an item of clothing in the load.

Arkansasgirl, don't be fooled by the Palmolive soap that is clear in the bottle. It still reeks. Look for the words "fragrance free" on the label. It's written in small letters.

Ha, I saw this because of the mention of the "unanswered questions", which I had never noticed before. But...what is the question??

Those Toteme pants are gorgeous. For some reason, I just thought the groin to knee area in the BB pants looked excessively fabric swathed, lol.

The proportions are definitely wrong, but what I've seen from H & M hasn't been the best quality. Bumble, I had to look up barrel jeans. Not seeing anything like that around here yet. Have to say I hope we don't, but I won't be wearing them, nor do I plan to wear pleated pants again LOL. I do think the blazers are too long; how tall are you KSWL?
