The assembly instructions do not show a wire running through the glass

I am sure you can ask her studio directly for more information about the shade color
Don't know if it's wire or a rod but something threads through all three glass balls and then you tighten them down with the gold ball at the bottom. The instructions seem it comes already together.
My cabinets are also painted SW Misty. I have Shadow Storm marble on my perimeter counters with a vzag backsplash. My island base is painted SW Anchors Aweigh, with a butcher block top that helps bring down some of the coolness. It seems to work ok in my space.
Good Morning
The vendor does not have enough material for the island. Would something very plain/ more muted work OR should I go with a strong central piece for this island?
We still want the material listed below for the walls and countertops.
Island
Yes, matchy matchy is not always ideal. It is not clashy clashy, so should be all good, particularly since it is not like the brasses are right next to each other. I have a Kohler faucet in vibrant moderne brass and hickory hardware (brushed gold, maybe?) - not a match but everything coordinates fine. Nobody has ever walked into my kitchen and been horrified.
Give yourself a couple of weeks to get used to them. From the photos, they do look like they will work together.
I’m sure with the kitchen getting filled with your stuff, it will offset the concentration on these two brasses.
I really love the sconce but am not really crazy about it being positioned horizontally. Maybe because of the heavy backplate? or maybe because of the way the cage runs? something just seems off with it being horizontal.
see the difference with this one?
Do u have a link to that light fixture?
It is also a Visual Comfort I found at lumens, but I imagine it is available from different sources. This should bring you to the site

I ended up with a Kohler Neoroc, which is similar to the Blanco Silgranit that I wanted but was out of stock. I have been very very happy with it and it still looks brand new 3 1/2 years later…
I have had customers get the Silgranite sinks - didn't hear back except for one. The one who had trouble had a gray color and had lots of problems with staining on it which I found very strange. They did let her return it and get a different color which seems to be just fine ( I think she got the black one ) .
Blanco silgranite. Almost 9 years strong and still looks great.
Becareful with red. It can fade easily unless you have great protection on your windows and you find a good quality red sofa that withstands fading.
We bought a Natuzzi 25 years ago. Red leather and it has been perfect for us. It is now in a bonus room looking as gorgeous as it did the day we bought it. I love that red sofa, ottoman and red chair. It took a beating from boxers sneaking up on it and a house full of kids but doesn't show a bit of damage. It's still the soft smooth Allaro red leather.
After looking again at the rug I might go teal but it depends on how married you are to the rug.
Paul F. will you pretty please stick around for a year or so while we build? Feel free to add horses or camels or whatever you like in odd places but I may need you. LOL
