This review is later than ideal but I had the pleasure of working with Heike in 2022 when we embarked on our 2nd floor addition and remodel. Our project had 4 bed and 3.5 baths and candidly I had quite a few design elements picked out already. Heike was very flexible in working with us based on our project needs. Other designers we spoke to wanted a much bigger scope/control and didn’t seem excited when I shared what I wanted. This was something I really appreciated with how Heike approached the project. Heike helped us with so many elements across the project - she helped us with pick paint colors, light fixtures, flooring options and even suggested wallpapers (which have become some of our key elements in our house). She helped us tie all the different designed elements and gently nudged me out of my fully neutral palate to have few elements that stand out. She never pushed anything I wasn’t comfortable with but I’m glad she introduced some color into our house. Heike was also so critical in helping us with elevation documents which were really helped with our contractor. It was a pleasure working with Heike and I would recommend her to anyone.

Heike was sooo easy to work with, and she made my life much easier when designing an unexpected bathroom remodel. She is organized, attentive, and unflappable...unlike my contractor foreman. The patience Heike showed in having to resend the measurements three times went above and beyond. Heike had the right contacts to be able to procure the new bathtub, countertop, cabinetry and toilet in one fell swoop, and I am very happy with how everything has turned out. Thank you, Heike!

Heike's color and design choices for tile were spot on and really helped our master bath remodel shine. She was also a very responsive and helpful partner in making countless choices related to our remodel. Thanks Heike

Heike Shelton workd with me to move back into a home that I had previously lived in. She was very helpful in recommending paint colors for rooms that were being remodeled or updated as well as suggesting furniture placement and good locations for art work. She was invaluable on moving day itself — directing movers with where to put boxes, place area rugs and furniture, and keeping things organized at the receiving end of the move. Follow-up appointments addressed hanging of art work, determining sizes for area rugs for bedrooms, and helping to decide which pieces of furniture were working in the new space and which might need to be changed. She has given me resources for various services i’ve needed. Her experience has been very valuable. Heike is flexible and willing to work with me as the need arises. I will continue to call upon her for opinions and I respect her suggestions.

I recently moved into a smaller apartment than I had lived in previously. Heike was invaluable in assisting me in furniture placement, purchasing several items, and was there the day I moved and made sure everything was placed perfectly. Her help was wonderful and so appo. I couldn’t have done it without her eye and understanding of what would look best and where. Thank you Heike!

Heike Shelton was terrific in helping to oversee the design of an expansion/remodel project. She provided insightful perspective on the use of space during the design phase and was diligent in assessing progress against the plans during the build phase. There were several occasions where she caught errors during framing which we would have missed. This enabled us to talk through solutions on the fly. Also, Heike was very practical in considering our overall budget and offered decor suggestions which were both practical and affordable. We never felt that we were missing out on high end features as she always had great alternatives. She is responsive, attentive and a pleasure to work with! We could not have done our project without her:)

I hired Heike over a number of months to choose furnishing, decor, paint color and more for a number of apartments. Each was different and unique and fabulous! She also works well with a budget which was refreshing and appreciated! I would definitely hire her again when I need the assistance!

I was downsizing from a 3 bed/2 bath home to a 1 bedroom/1 bath apt. and Heike was a Godsend on maximizing my space, placement of furniture and hooking me up with resources to purchase items. When I buy another home, I definitely plan on engaging her help. She was professional, extremely knowledgeable, resourceful and a pure pleasure to work with.

My husband and I hired Heike to design our master bedroom. Before Heike our master bedroom was bland and boring… just a bed and a few pieces of furniture and nothing on the walls. Heike took into account our budget, our likes and dislikes and fashioned a bedroom that is an amazing oasis that we never want to leave. Not only do we love the final product, but it was also a pleasure to work with her.
