Comments (4)I recently bought a 24" towel bar, towel ring, robe hook and TP holder from faucetdepot.com for 47.64 total inc shipping. I priced them at Lowes (Moen Preston line), and even w/ shipping, Faucet Depot was cheaper. I had no problems with them other than it taking a day longer than I thought. The estimated deliver date on the FedEx trackingwas the day I was leaving for vacation, and it didn't arrive until the next day so the box sat on my front porch for a week! Fortunately no one stole it. I did have a problem w/ the set screw on the TP holder, but that's not FD's fault. I think I have it resolved, though. I just need to finsih installing when I get home tonight. I didn't try to return it or anything because I bought back in September and am just now installing it, so that's past FD's return cutoff....See MoreAdvice for solid large modern towel and robes hooks - small bathroom?
Comments (4)Oh my gosh--I just found the best three-in-one chrome and white ceramic hook from Anthropologie. This one isn't white, but mine is--it's called the soda fountain hook. I don't see it on their website but the store near me had several left. I was looking for a similar solution and snapped this right up; I'm planning to return the moen fixtures I bought as soon as they arrive. I only have about three inches for a single robe/towel hook by the shower, so I was overjoyed. Two of these and you'd be set. My look is similar--sleek and modern, though I did enjoy the touch of whimsy imparted by these fixtures....See MoreNeed help on bathroom colors/accessories
Comments (12)1. Do I choose a darker wall color like here, or the one I chose. Keep the one you chose since it's a spec house. Perfect color. 2. I'm debating a wood mirror, white mirror, or tilt mirror. I'd go with a tilt mirror. You have enough going on with the pretty floor tile and blue walls with the pretty vanity. Honestly in the picture I find the wood mirror jarring. 3. 2 light, 3 light, vanity light, or 1 or 2 ceiling lights (like in the picture) High hat above the sink and a wall sconce on either side of the mirror if you're interested in getting the best light for things like shaving or putting on makeup....See MoreHeights of bathroom accessories
Comments (6)Stand up, close your eyes, and reach for a towel. That is how high a towel bar should be for you. It may look odd to have a towel bar above another towel bar, but then it may not. The second towel bar should be at least half a towel's distance above the lower towel bar. In anticipation of your next post, paint brush strokes should go in a variety of directions....See MoreMatt C
