Geebung spp

I believe this is a Geebung (Personnia spp).
Can anyone confirm and ID the spp? Growing in Bicentennial Park, Sydney.

Thanks

Fof

    I'd say Persoonia linearis.

Thanks Tropi. At least that confirms the genus, but I am still not too sure as to the species. All pictures of P. linearis appear to have leaves that are a lot longer than these, but the flower appears correct. Species variability perhaps?

Persoonia flowers are very similar. I remember this one from years back. From memory they mainly inhabit sandstone country. So maybe the different environment and soil has changed it. I thought there was only the one with needle-like leaves.

Could be Persoonia pinifolia, which is native to the Sydney region.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think you may have hit the nail on the head. I have been back a couple of times to get some additional close ups but would you believe I cannot find it. I KNOW where it was. I shall locate it again! I will!! I will!!
