Viola pedata

Viola pedata is commonly known as bird's foot violet and the foliage really does resemble cute little birds feet. The flowers are a variable multitude of shades from sky to deep blues. This plant needs good drainage and is the prefect candidate for a hot, dry sunny location. It blooms in early summer and then sporadically throughout the season.
