Polemonium yezoense
Polemonium yezoense is a close cousin to the Jacob's ladder popular with gardeners around the world. The foliage is nearly black in early spring, then later turning medium to silvery dark green in summer and autumn. The attractive blue flowers appear in early summer. Polemonium yezoense does well in full sun to part shade and an average to moist soil.
