The Prize!
Primula 'Vivid'
Primula 'Vivid' arose spontaneously out of my breeding work with the x polyanthus primroses. This serendipitous discovery took place in the midst of my desire to produce a copper colored flower. The polyanthus primroses are a supposedly naturally occurring hybrid between Primula veris (cowslip), Primula vulgaris (English primrose), and Primula elatior (Oxslip), and have been cultivated since about the 18th century. --Barry Glick
This month's contest winner will receive three
Primula 'Vivid'
