Helleborus argutifolius

Helleborus argutifolius is commonly known as Corsican hellebore, as it hails from the island of Corsica. The rich green, slightly marbled foliage is ruggedly toothed and can be sharp to the touch on mature leaves. It is fully hardy to zone 5 and is long-lived. It prefers a sunny location with decent drainage. Plants can get up to 24" tall and about the same spread.
