Hexastylis shuttleworthii is an evergreen groundcover for the shade. It bears unique leathery foliage which is brilliantly mottled with silver patterns. The interesting jug-like flowers appear in the early spring before the growth of new foliage. It prefers moist shady woodland conditions.
