I'm a homeschooling mother. Horticulture is a diversion and a learning process for my family. We garden vegetables and love flowers. We are now the owners of 4 heirloom apple trees and 3 pear trees. We spend time studying nature with other homeschoolers and keep Nature Notebooks year round. The 4 distinct seasons in our state of NC provide us with something fun-to-do most of the time.
