In March 2002, we bought a fixer-upper on 1/3 acre in urban Portland, OR. The challenges of removing old stumps, ivy, blackberries, and other invasives still consume most of my time, but I hope to be able to start "painting" in areas of my newly-cleaned canvas this year.

In the meantime, my plant collection (mostly in pots) has grown by leaps and bounds. I'm addicted to propagating both from seed and cutting, and I love exotic bulbs and tubers, including hardy orchids.

Since there is apparently no cure for my addiction, I can only hope that some other plant-addicted gardeners out there will relieve me of some of my extra seeds and plants, in exchange for other seeds and plants that I can nurture into yet more to trade!
