I am slowly working on digging away the grass in my yard. Bit by bit I dig up grass and put in plants. My main interests have been Roses, Hydrangeas, and Bulbs. I enjoy trading and rooting cuttings of Hydrangeas and Roses.

My garden gives me great joy. I get antsy when I can not get out and dig for a bit. I am working on adding in raised beds for my bulbs. I am slowly putting in Hydrangeas in shady spots. I also have a number of Rhodies and Azaleas. The previous owner of my house was obsessed with evergreen boxwoods. Those are comming out as quickly as I can remove them. That is not super quick.

I recently saw a picture of a walk way containing both Daylilies and Daffodils. I love the concept. I would like to eventually do this somewhere in my yard. I do not know where yet. I do certainly have enough Daffodils for the project. Although one can never have enough Daffodils in life.
