I own a small castle in the Hollywood Hills built in 1931 by an old-world European concrete mason and his son, a set designer. Sadly, the home suffered a large loss fire when it was rented out just before Thanksgiving, 2010 and I have no choice but to completely restore it top to bottom (major smoke damage to every square inch and significant structural, too). Note to all landlords: add a clause to your lease agreements. NO CANDLES!!!
