I have always loved to garden. I took horticulture and ffa in school, and continue learning new things as a hobbie. This year I planted something new this year, and quite by accident I become a huge enthusiast. Walmart of all places, had dahlia tubers for next to nothing. They were clearing out there plants and they were like 75%off. I found a bag w/ like 3 cactus tubers for like $1.50. I did not have high expectations, needless to say they were amazing. I am hooked, I have already started looking around at the 2006 selections to order. So here I am searching the web looking for info on winter storage, and I found this forum. I could certainly use some advice from experianced dahlia growers. I look forward to chatting w/ other gardening enthusiasts.
