Left the flat former Prairies of N. Il about 13 years ago and found the beautiful hill country of SE Minnesota. Combination of bluffs, woodlands, open fields, and trout streams. Around the same time I slowly disengaged from being a Registered Nurse and took up a full time hobby of raising native plants for fun and profit. Although I now spend a lot of time practicing my "hobby" on the phone I can still look out the window and watch the ever changing seasons. My wife and I do quite a bit of gardening and manage to grow a good assortment of vegetables along with the native flowers and grasses. We are fortunate to live on a 350 acre land co-op (think codo association with a lot of land)which we share with 20+ others.
