I am married with two children and many pets--dogs,horses,birds,various rodents,a box turtle,and a cat. I mostly garden in containers,due to poor soil and the fact that I'm forever drawn to plants that do best in partial to full sun...and the only spot on our property that provides these conditions (other than where the horses are kept--forget it!) is our deck.
