I am a writer living in Toronto, Canada. Our place is in the west end a stone's throw from High Park.

This year I've become very involved in gardening (more so than others).

I host a writers' forum - Wild City Writers' Workshop - and recently added a gardening forum to that.

My gardening takes place on a large lot on which the apartment building where my husband is the superintendent stands.

It is rough soil - mostly acedic - pine trees, maples, etc. It's a struggle to get anything going there but I've managed to put a few things in.

It's getting a bit chilly here right now.
