I began serious gardening in 1995 and have never looked back. I have purchased read and studied many gardening publications and recently donated 120 garden books to my new local library.
I enjoy anything that can grow from seed. I have a great passion for heirloom tomatoes and trees.
I also enjoy sharing my learned garden knowledge. I take great pleasure volunteering my time and sharing my garden and nature knowledge with children every spring when I go into the schools and speak. I have volunteered at my local arboretum doing the tours of the forest with school children on field trips.
I have written gardening articles for my local newspaper and have just began my 5th season doing a live 10 minute gardening talk on radio.
I have a wonderful wife and 3 lovely daughters who enjoy gardening with me.
I do find time away from gardening to work as a contruction worker.
