I have a very small yard and grow a lot of plants in pots in my driveway - the sunniest spot. Along with a good friend, I have just started a new community garden in a small field behind my house. Please visit our website and let me know what you think!

In my yard I have these roses growing on their own roots: Climbing Pinkie, Yellow Lady Banks, White Lady Banks, Reine des Violettes, Zephirine Drouhin, Bayses Blueberry, Veilchenblau, Valentine, Souvenir du Docteur Jamain, Reve dOr, Marie Pavie, Nur Mahal, and David Austins Heritage and John Clare. For the most part, they are all thornless or nearly so, which is great for ease of care. Contrary to what they say, a rose is still a rose without a thorn.
