I have been researching Professor Niels Ebbsen Hansens work with roses for South Dakota so am always willing to "talk" about that.

I live on an acreage that has been a part of my husbands family farm since they homesteaded in 1873. We battle severe winters and dry, hot summers but the challenges make the rewards of gardening enjoyable.

Besides gardening, I enjoy reading, baking desserts (ask me for cheesecake recipes), horseback riding and playing cards with friends.
