There are lots of pics of my roses at www.PictureTrail.com/shrubrose.
My favorite roses are (in order): (1) Buck roses; (2) rugosas; (3) other modern shrubs; and (4) old albas. My garden is no-spray.
Here are the roses I am currently growing.
I give my rating of fragrance and disease resistance of some of the roses. F1=no fragrance; F2=slight fragrance; F3=moderate fragrance; F4=strong fragrance; F5=very strong fragrance. I put ***** beside those that are my very favorites.
DR1=very poor disease resistance; DR2=poor disease resistance; DR3=moderate disease resistance; DR4=good disease resistance; DR5=excellent disease resistance.

I like plants of all kinds: trees, rhododendrons, azaleas, perennials, herbs, and pretty weeds. I like animals too, and rocks and dirt. I don't like bad things very much.
I have, in addition to lots of roses, one cat, two dogs, two daughters, one wife, and no money. All of the humans at our place are vegetarians and non-smokers. The cats and dogs aren't vegetarian, but at least they don't smoke.
I'm a philosopher, essayist, and professor at Morehead State University in Kentucky, which ranks somewhere below Harvard and Yale in overall prestige.
