Hi this is weednsmile,
And that's what I do in the garden...Well,we sort of have to , don't we? My husband and I are retired..I taught school, and he flew jets for private companies. We especally enjoy gardening on our 6 acres out in the country in middle Georgia. We were high school and college sweethearts for 6 years,,,then due to a misunderstanding we lost each other for 40 years..had very good seperate lives, found each other again and have been ever so happily married since '97.
We are redesigning our whole 6 acres, mainly around daylilies. We enjoy other hobbies. He enjoys building, designing the different areas of our garden, installing sprinkler systems, building a greenhouse, lathe house, redoing our huge Hobbyhouse, designing and building several gazeboes, desiging and building a watergarden, working on our garden equipment,designing his workshop, and building furniture. He is a gourmet cook, and does all the cooking, is a big guy that is very goodlooking, good dancer, kind, and NO girls, you can't have him..:o)
I enjoy gardening, especially daylilies, hostas, and many other varietites of plants and trees. Propagation is a hobby,also. I enjoy all kinds of handcrafts, especally oil painting and pastels.(He is building an art studio for me.)
I enjoy writing, have written several books, but do not care to have them published..they are for my own use and enjoyment...mostly about flowers, growing up in the 50's, and my pets. Teaching was a high point in my life.
We have a conure named Gus, a cocktiel named Tweedy, a poodle named Nicki, 4 betas, and 6 cats whose history can be traced back for 30 years.We support a racoon (he chose us),and he eats with the cats. We injoy the hummers and all the other birds that choose to live near us, or just stop by for a visit on their way to other places. There's room for all.
My husband and I enjoy computers. We both have our own, and e mail each other from across the room....that's FUN.

Actually the garden isn't ours..You see, it belongs to God, and we just try to look after it for Him. What better way to enjoy the beauty that He has created.
