Greetings from Missouri! I have been a long time amature gardner. Over the years I have self taught myself, by trial and error, and love of all green things, to be a fairly adequite home gardner.
I grow, well in the flower dept. anything that appeals to me and that I can get to grow....and have a pretty nice city veggie garden.... we love tomaotes and grow tons!
I have developed an immense intrest in organic gardening and heritage types of veggies.
I grow things for the sake of growing them really, and probably share more than I consume myself...I like geting my hands in it....
I have recently inherrited a very small piece of property in the taneycomo are of missouri and hope to move to it in the next few years( we got a lot of work to do...its rough)
I hope to learn over the next few years, things that I can growon this property that will thrive( astetically) and Veggies that will take to the rocky ground...
This was my first year in attempting a make shift hot house( we rent) and trying to raise all veggies from seed...I did well but wow do I have a lot to learn....
I work in the bakery field professionally, have two college aged boys, share a house with my significant other and one huge dog, and lots of fishies( tanks and pond)
I spend most of my time in the yard..fussing....and digging....moving things...and generally driving people nuts with all my new found sucesses...
I havent found many with my intrest around me, and look forward to maybe meeting a few people who do share my love of gardening( specially near me..that would be awesome)
I enjoy things to look natural and like they would if I had had nothing to dowith it at all....love my herbs and edible flowers....
I am very simple and laid back in my life style... but can talk your ear off about things that mean much to me...
I am very excited to be attempting to go to the herritage festival at bakers farm this august...truely hope I fitin even a bit...and trying to find out if I can go as a foods vendor...( if anyone knows anything about this please contact me...)
other thatn that...heres to new friends...and thanks
