My husband (of 38 years) and I have 5 acres around our home on the Gulf Coast. We do a wide variety of gardening - roses, perennials, annuals, fruit trees, vegetables, tropicals and water gardening.

I am a Master Gardener and gardening is my passion. I am also president of our local Garden Club. I eat, drink, and sleep gardening. Dont come to my home if you dont want a walk-through. LOL.

We have four children, ages 36, 34, 29 and 14. (No, #4 wasnt an oops...LOL...a very special child who came into our lives when he was 10 weeks old and our adoption was finalized nine years ago.) In addition to our children, we do foster care for medically fragile children.

We love to travel and take advantage of this every chance we get. (I tell DH its a much needed get-away; but, deep down, I am searching for new seeds, cuttings, or the whole plant!!).
