I'm 53, married to Chuck for 35 years, and we have 5 children. Some came to us by birth and some by adoption, making us a transracial family. We also have 5 wonderful grandchildren.

I am very active in our Catholic parish, and stay busy with many ministries and projects there. I also enjoy blogging, native plants, old cemeteries, letterboxing, history, crochet (sometimes), artwork (outsider art, mail art, odd yard art, painting, etc.). I have a thing for sock monkeys, Oaxacan woodcarving, and may be something of an eccentric....which is a more classy word for weird. ;)
