I love plants -- have done some vegetable gardening and this year got a small tent-type greenhouse and started about 50 one-gallon tomatoes, peppers, annual flowers, etc. Had a ball! Right now I am learning to propagate landscape plants using cuttings under mist and this winter will do some hardwood cuttings. Have a few ornamental grasses to plant out and divide in spring.

I am married with one son, one dog, two pet hens in the front yard. We are houseparents at the Christian Childrens Ranch. We provide homes for kids who are unable to live with their own families for various reasons. I am hoping my propagation project will be something we can do together to learn and to raise a little money for family vacations, etc.
