Hi there! Hubby and I live in northeast Oklahoma, just south of Tulsa and have purchased ten acres a few years back on which we soon hope to build our dream house. In the meantime, we have inadvertently turned into gardening FOOLS with so much space to play with.

I try to add a completely new garden each year as well as making additions to those we've already established. Lots of perennials, shrubs, roses, daylilies, fruit trees, including a stand of about forty native persimmons, in addition to grapevines (concord) blueberry bushes (30!!!) and a few blackberries. We also have a small flock of laying chickens. And oh yes! The vegetable patch!

Hubby bought a new toy this winter....a 1952 Farmall Cub tractor so there's no telling WHAT havoc we may wreak this season!

I am thrilled to have found this forum and amazed at the breadth and depth of information it encompasses. I look forward to spending many an hour in your company. (After dark and on rainy days!)
