I've been living on a boat for the last five years and prior to that it was a high rise flat in Hong Kong with just a balcony so serious gardening is all very new to me. But I'm hooked!
We've recently bought a house which we've done up and now rent off as a holiday home and this came complete with an enormous garden and over thirty fruit trees. So I am very much enjoying learning/ experimenting and watching things grow-that is between making endless jars of apple chutney! We've also made our first cider which has been another fun (?) venture...
Sadly, I am frustrated by the lack of gardens to visit here in France as of course I never appreciated them when I was living in the UK!
