Full time mkt. gardener with about 4 acres of production beds devoted to wholesale bouquet floral production and a little under one acre of specialty produce beds. The rest of the farm is split between two ponds (7 acres) and woodlands (about 26 acres). Principal market is Houston where client base consists of high-end restaurants and grocery stores. Growing perspective is sustainable on the floral end and earth friendly on the produce side. About to enter into my fifth full time year, and still trying to find my niche! Experimenting with different produce ideas, i.e. salad green mixes, tomatoes, herbs, etc.. with the long-term goal of having an on farm restaurant that provides seasonal produce on the menu. Blessed with a great wife and 5 year old son.
