I'm a devoted city dweller with a newly purchased pre-war that hasn't been remodeled since....before the war (that's WWII). I have few DIY skills and my DH has far fewer. He is, however, a very wise and loving individual who is in favor of almost anything that will make me happy as regards the renovation.
