I am an artist (fused glass and ceramic) and I like to garden. I have roses, lilacs, honeysuckle, hydrangeas, peonies and many other plants, although I don't really know what I am doing with any of them. When the house next door was sold to the church and torn down, I got permission to salvage many plants. They were all native and established, of course, and have adjusted very well to my yard. One was a twenty foot rambling red rose that two brave friends helped me transplant in late February! The first year it leafed out, but no flowers. This year I am very excited and hoping to see the red roses come.
