Moved not too long ago into a subdivision with lots of "opportunities" aka "challenges"! The landscaping is maintaned by volunteers and areas are "sponsored". In the past there was community greenhouse, but the members dropped down to one madman who used it to store his trash and then moved away. We just finished cleaning that out so we can reclaim the space for the handful of people in our community who would like to use it.

We also have a community gardening plot that is tilled every spring, there were only 5 of us last year, but we are going to be promoting more memebers this year.

The place that I live is in shambles, there hasn't been any landscaping or maintenance in at least 5 years UAAAGGG!. I have an indoor pond and a sun room. Outside there is a 150 gal pond that hasn't been used in about 5 years, which has plywood covering the opening and GOD knows what floating around in it. That is my "special" project this spring, before the water completely defrosts... is to scoop out the animal soup ice cubes and avoid the black snake I saw heading for his home between the lining and the surrounding rocks.

I live in an underground home where there is trees and landscaping on my roof. We had a particularly dry summer last year and most of the pine trees died, so we have to remove them. LOTS of work, but I am glad that I have found this site to get all the great and often entertaining adise I've found here!
