I can not go out in public anymore because my fingernails are always brown. I love to garden and my garden is starting to look pretty good. I am on 4 acres in the Sierra Nevada foothills, and must have at least a thousand oak trees on my property, but would love to plant more evergreens and dogwoods and other flowering and fall color trees. I am constantly battling the deer, jackrabbits and other critters that like the plants as much as I do...so I did decide to plant a salad bar for the animals..hoping that they would just eat that and leave the rest of my landscaping alone. So far it hasnt worked.
