We moved to the Fort Worth area of Texas from Pennsylvania...I have no clue how to garden in Texas...what's up with this clay 'soil'? hehe

There are so many great plants to get to know here...I really like crepe myrtles!

Recently installed a 100gal. pond in my small(or as I like to call it "intimate")backyard...looking forward to buying some water plants next spring.

Any tips on how to keep my plants from burning up and blowing away in this Texas heat would be appreciated! ;)
