i have puttered in the yard for years but am just starting now to learn and implement real gardening. some day i will try vegetables, but for now i'm working on getting things in shape for a flower garden. the 2nd most popular pastime in the u.s. is birdwatching and i sometimes think that would be a lot easier! but i'm having fun & don't think i need to go to the gym anymore.
